Tap Your Toes at a Bluegrass Festival, Fort Fairfield
There’s just something about bluegrass that puts people in a mellow mood. All those banjos together seems to get even the most recalcitrant spectator’s feet tapping. Add in the scenery at Farm Park in Fort Fairfield, and you’ve got the makings of a knee-slapping good time. This year’s County Bluegrass Festival features acts like the Gibson Brothers, the Maine-based Blistered Fingers, and the Canadian ensemble the Douthwrights, among several others. For those wishing to enjoy all three days of the festival, camping is available at the site, and vendors will be offering a variety of local foods in the food court area. If you’re looking for a great time in a laid-back atmosphere, you’ll be right at home at the County Bluegrass Festival. 207-472-3802. http://countybluegrass.com
