When Did You Last Have Moxie?

The latest 3-Minute Maine video by Russell Kaye and Sandra-Lee Phipps showcases the Moxie Museum, Lisbon Falls.

When Russell Kaye and Sandra-Lee Phipps said it had been some time since they'd had Moxie — if ever — it was clear a trip to Lisbon Falls was in order. Along the route inland they were advised not to give up after the first sip of the curiously tangy drink. Moxie is an acquired taste, I said.

Sure enough, that advice was echoed by the proprietor of the dusty museum — more a shrine to all that is Moxie than a museum by accepted standards — and Kaye and Phipps came away with a new appreciation for the nerve tonic turned soda.

Stopped in the General Store this week and met Frank. What a cutie! Also had my first Diet Moxie - delicious. I hope I can get it here in Connecticut. It was my familiy's trip to Lisbon. We plan to return for the big Moxie festival next year.

Frank may also be inspired to ship to anyone who called him a "cutie."

Glad you had the experience and are making plans for the fair.
